An organization representing the central employees, Federation of National Postal Organizations has sent a letter to the Chairperson of 8 th Pay Commission, Ranjana Prakash Desai demanding a lot. The organization requires 50 percent dearness allowance to be added into the basic salary since January 1, 2026. According to them, this will have an immediate positive effect on the real-income of employees as well as relieve their purchasing power in the face of increasing inflation.
