RRB NTPC 2026 Exam Dates and Timetable
The RRB NTPC exam in the form of Computer-Based Test (CBT) will be taken on several days in March 2026. The official schedule shows that the exam will be held on March 16, 17, 18, 19, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 27, 2026.

It is recommended that the applicants can download their admit cards promptly and thoroughly verify the date of the examination, the shift time, and the exam centre reflected on the document. The admitting card should be carried to the exam centre and then one will not be allowed to enter without their admitting card.
Pattern of Examination and Distribution of questions
The Computer Based Test that will be part of the RRB NTPC will consist of 100 questions in the first stage. The test will evaluate the applicants on various topics touching on the general knowledge, mathematics and mental prowess.
Among these questions, 40 questions will be of the General Awareness category and 30 questions will be of the Mathematics category and the remaining 30 questions will be of the General intelligence and Reasoning. The candidates will be allotted 90 minutes to fill the whole paper.
The questions in this stage are prepared based on the education qualification needed in the posts. Once the test is done, the results will be normalised and the candidates will be shortlisted to the next round of the CBT according to merit.
