What is UPI Circle and Why It Matters

UPI circle is meant to allow an individual to make payments on behalf of others without the individual having to be in a separate bank account. Simply put, the primary user is added, and secondary users are added. The secondary users directly withdraw the money by making payments out of the bank account of the primary user.
This simplifies life of those families where not all of them feel at ease with bank accounts or complex payment systems. It establishes a common economic ground where trust and control are mutually exclusive.
The UPI Circle Feature: How It Works
The aspect operates in a fluid and managed manner. The main user can add up to five individuals to Google Pay. After addition, such users will be able to pay through their devices. Although they are the ones who make the transaction, the funds are charged against the bank account of the primary user.
This arrangement is particularly handy in families that have one individual who does the financial work but would rather that the other does not request to be paid daily but would still pay the small amounts.
What It Takes to Start
The main user needs to have an active bank account with Google Pay to use UPI Circle. The individual being added must have his or her phone number stored in the main user contacts.
They also need to have Google Pay installed on their phone along with a valid UPI ID or a UPI Circle QR code. After these basic things are done, the feature is simply installed within a short period of time and without much hassle.
Complete Domination Remains within Your Reach
Among the most comforting details of UPI Circle is the fact that the main user remains in complete control. You will be able to determine the amount that the secondary user will be allowed to spend within a month. This can be increased to up to Rs 15,000, and it is ideal in handling routine expenditures such as groceries, transport, or minor personal demands.
The alternative is also to have all payments approved. Here, when the secondary user will attempt to make a payment, it will have to be approved by the primary user beforehand. This provides an additional level of security and makes sure that no money is sold without an authorization.
Simple procedures to establish UPI Circle
The installation of this feature does not need any technical skill. All you have to do is to open the Google Pay app, visit the profile section and tap the UPI Circle option. You may add a secondary user from there by typing in their information. You can then select either an option of setting a spending limit or allow approvals of payment.
After all this is in place an invitation is sent to the secondary user after which they are free to make payments having accepted the invitation.
A Real Life Needs Feature

UPI Circle is not only a payment feature. It is as though an answer to real-life scenarios. It may assist the parents in the management of the expenditures of their children, aid older relatives who do not feel at ease with banking apps, or even aid employees with their tight budgets. It provides the flexibility without the loss of control, which a lot of people seek in digital finance today.
