HMD Vibe 2 5G Price in India and Availability
HMD has officially unveiled the Vibe 2 5G for India on May 21, 2026 and priced the phone in a way that targets the budget smartphone market. The phone comes with various storage options, allowing customers to choose depending on their requirements and budget.
The smartphone will be sold on Flipkart and HMD’s official website. Selected bank discounts are another way to make the phone more affordable to early buyers, and these are features offered by launch offers.
The budget price might help to get more buyers
The 4GB RAM and 64GB storage edition comes priced at ₹8,999, while the 4GB RAM and 128GB model goes for ₹9,999. If someone wants slightly better multitasking performance, then user can buy 6GB RAM with 128GB of storage for ₹10,999.
The HMD Vibe 2 5G will now be an attractive choice for those looking for budget-friendly 5G connectivity below the ₹10,000 price point, thanks to the introductory offers.
The biggest highlight is Massive 6000mAh Battery
The big battery of 6,000mAh is among the selling points of HMD Vibe 2 5G. This is a feature that may be significant for budget users who prefer to not charge every day since the battery life is critical.
The big battery is expected to give up to two or three days of normal usage, depending on usage. Moreover, the device has 18W fast charging via USB Type-C, which helps users to charge their devices quickly without waiting.
The large display is featured with smooth refresh rate of 120Hz
HMD has fitted the Vibe 2 5G with a large 6.7-inch HD+ IPS LCD screen that is easy to read. Users will have a better experience when watching videos, browsing social media, or reading information, as they are expected to have a larger screen.
One highlight of this model is the 120Hz refresh rate that allows smoother scrolling and interface animation than many of the competing budget devices.
Everyday Performance With 5G Connectivity of the smart, sleek, and user-friendly devices
The phone features octa-core Unisoc T8200 processor that is designed for the day-to-day use of the smartphone. This chipset is likely to serve well for callers, social interaction activities, streaming and light gaming.
The phone is also equipped with 5G technology, which sets it apart from previous budget 4G phones. On this, HMD has equipped the device with Android 16 and virtual RAM support to aid in multitasking.
50MP Camera Setup for Basic Photography
Photography has continued to play an important role even if it comes to budget smartphones and HMD has also equipped it with a decent rear camera that can be used for a regular day-to-day shoot. It has a 50MP primary camera and a secondary depth camera.
The smartphone features an 8MP camera in the punch-hole that can be used for selfies and video calls. In typical lighting situations, AI camera capabilities can be used to enhance images.
Practical Design With Useful Features
The HMD Vibe 2 5G is more about features than frills. It provides IP 64 splash and dust resistance, providing added protection against splashes and dust when used outdoors or on a daily basis.
There’s also a fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi support and a 3.5mm headphone jack conveniently located at the side. For budget users, retaining the headphone input jack might be a good choice.
The 5G space for budget phones is competitive
While the Indian smartphone market for the budget segment is much cutthroat, the HMD Vibe 2 5G seems to be a good option for those who are willing to pay for a decent smartphone. The low cost of 5G connectivity, battery life, smooth display and practical design may prove to be key selling points.
However, for those prioritising battery life, performance, and budget over flagship-grade features, this might make more sense.
