Bank Holiday Update: If you have planned to go to the bank tomorrow, please stop and read the news. Usually, in the busy schedule that we have, we postpone bank-related things and face difficulty at the last moment.
But the case is a bit different this time, as all the banks across the country would remain closed on January 24th. If you go to the bank tomorrow without knowing the news, you would return dissatisfied.
What is the reason for the closure of every bank on January 24th?

As per the Reserve Bank of India, all the government and private banks are closed on the second Saturday and fourth Saturdays of a month. As the 24th is the fourth Saturday, you would not be able to operate your account, deposit cash, and carry out operations like cheques on that day, as the banking branches are closed on that day.
Bank holidays underway in several states
The bank holidays season this time has already started a day ago. On January 23rd, bank holidays have been observed in different states across India on the occasions of Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose Jayanti and Basant Panchami. Banking services were completely shutdown today in states such as West Bengal, Odisha, and Tripura. For people living in these states in India, this entire weekend has become a long holiday.
If you are not able to finish your important tasks today, there are likely to be complications
In case one has a need to deposit cash, pay a cheque, or pick up any other important documents from the bank, then it would be better to arrange for all this today. All this is important because after the weekends of Saturday and Sunday, the next working days will only be on the following Monday. Many a time, people often face difficulties when they find the bank closed at the last minute.
Complete support will be provided by digital banking
While the bank branches will not be accessible, the online banking services will remain open. You can easily undertake all your essential activities through net banking, mobile banking applications, UPI transactions, and ATM facilities. Whether you are transferring money or simply view the statements of your accounts, none of the transactions will be affected.

If you have delayed your urgent works due to the bank holidays on January 24th, you are advised to remain vigilant. Do your bank operations in advance. A few simple steps can take you away from bothering situations.
