What is the rate of interest on a PF account?

Interest on a PF account is deposited once in a year, however, it is computed on a monthly basis. This implies that interest will be worked out on the amount that is in your account and the amount that is added monthly.
Compounding is also an advantage in this process. This implies that the sum deposited is compounded with the interests on the sum deposited to continue earning interests the next year. This is the reason why long-term PF savings thus lead to high savings.
What will be the amount of interest on a 3 lakh deposit?
In case an employee has about 3 lakh invested in his or her PF account, then at the interest rate of 8.25 percent, they can add up to 25000 of interest in his or her account in one year. This is a considerable added saving among the employees.
The peculiarity of PF is that the sum deposited in it will stay safe and the interest made on it will be growing with time. That is why it is regarded as one of the best savings plans to use by employees.
How to Check PF Balance
PF balance checking has been made quite easy these days. This does not compel employees to visit an office. In case your UAN is connected with your mobile number, then you can check the balance in your PF by making a missed call on 9966044425 with the numbers registered.

A stable way of safe savings of the employees
The PF scheme has been a great derivation to the future financial security of the employees. Savings and interest earned over time increases to a significant value which is quite useful when one retires or otherwise requires it.
